South Beach New Providence Bahamas

South Beach, while it's rarely visited by tourists, does have its busy times. The majority of the activity is on weekends, when local friends and families gather to enjoy the sun, sand and water. A long, relatively narrow beach, between Cay Point and Long Point, it's yet another of those off-the-beaten path strips of sand, vertually deserted, known only to the locals who guard their secret closely. As always, if you have the time to rent a car, it's well worth a visit, especially on a weekday.
