Things to do In Nassau: The Nassau Beaches:

Junkanoo Beach, Nassau, BahamasNassau beaches are spectacular; those on Paradise Island are listed among the best in the world. If you’re visiting the island by cruise ship, you owe it to yourself to get out of town for a couple of hours and visit at least one of them.

Visitors by air love the city, me in particular. But most of the visitors who arrive by cruise ship go home complaining that they hate the Bahamas. And they do, mostly because they’ve seen the dock area, couple of blocks of the city, the local pan-handlers, and then they go away thinking that’s all there is. Get out. Go visit the Nassau beaches.
