The Graycliff Restaurant, Nassau, Bahamas

The Graycliff, on West Hill Street, Nassau, has been rated as one of the world’s 10 best restaurants by Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, and has received The Wine Spectator’s Grand Award for its wine cellar, which contains more than 175,000 bottles. The Graycliff is also the Caribbean's first 5-star restaurant, and it enjoys a legendary reputation. I have dined there only once, unfortunately, but having done so, I can readily appreciate whay it's the place where the rich and famous go for what is arguably "the finest dining in Nassau."

The menu offers a selection of amazing Bahamina dishes, all uniquely Graycliff, but with creative refinements you'll not find anywhere else. The restaurant also claims to have the best collection of Cuban cigars in the world. You’ll need a jacket, a tie, and a reservation. Phone 242-322-2796.
